Strider's
movement is balanced with lovely side-gait, clean coming and going,
excellent foot-timing, and he holds his topline beautifully on
the go-around. I couldn't be more pleased with him as a show dog,
sire, or pet. Strider's temperament is wonderful... playful
and gentle, yet in the ring or field he exhibits confidence, flash
and drive. He is anxious to please, almost to a fault, and
charms everyone he meets. His attitude as a showdog is nothing
short of phenomenal. He never quits. This is a boy who "works
and plays well with others" and is neither dog, food, or toy aggressive
with either bitches or dogs. Strider is a sound young male
with moderate bone and balanced angle, front and rear. He
has full dentition and a scissor bite. His coat is light
blond and correct in texture, his pigment black, with dark eyes.
His outstanding points include a strong headpiece with a soft
and very pleasing expression and good length and arch of neck
with a lovely neck blend into well laid-back shoulders.
Strider has good length and return of upper arm, excellent rib-spring,
adequate body depth and a topline which is solid with a correct
tail-set and carriage. He has moderate forechest and straight
front legs. Strider is a short-coupled dog with good length of
rib. He has excellent rear angle and turn of stifle, with
hocks well let down and a wide, strong rear. |
